MEGA MIS TO FACE CIBONA IN ZAGREB, BARAĆ: “TO RETURN TO GOOD FORM AND SHOW THAT WE’VE LEARNED FROM DEFEATS”

The Mega MIS basketball team faces an away game in Zagreb against Cibona in the 9th round of the ABA League. The match at the Dražen Petrović Basketball Center is scheduled for Friday, November 24, at 18:00, with a live broadcast on TV Arena Sport.

Coach Marko Barać respects the opponent and emphasizes the importance of the team showing that they have learned from the defeat against Krka in the previous round:

Cibona is a well-coached team whose key players know each other well. They have been playing good basketball from the start of the season and have gained a lot of confidence with several consecutive victories. We have trained well, and I hope we will transfer that to the game. We want to return to good form and show that we have learned something from the defeat in the last round,” said Barać.

Mega missed the opportunity to record a third consecutive victory last week, but Cibona did not. Nikola Topić is aware of the challenge ahead but has confidence in his team:

We definitely expect a very tough away game. Cibona plays quality and good basketball and is on a three-game winning streak in the ABA League. To achieve a positive result, we will need to respond to their physical basketball and maintain concentration for the full 40 minutes. I believe we are ready for that,” added Topić.

After eight rounds, Mega has one more win than the Zagreb team (4-4), and they head to the Croatian capital with a better head-to-head record. They have faced Cibona 20 times in the ABA League, winning 12 times, with a 5-5 record in away games at Dražen’s home.
