MEGA SUPERBET IMPRESSIVE IN VICTORY OVER AUBURN IN PRESEASON GAME IN MYKONOS

Mega Superbet defeated Auburn University 70–68 in the second preseason game between the two teams in Mykonos.

Vule Avdalović’s side built the decisive lead in the third quarter, winning the period 23–14.

Andrej Lučić led the Belgrade team with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists for a PIR of 21. Mihailo Bošković added 12 points, while Pavle Bačko scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Ognjen Nikolić finished with 10 points.

For the losing side, Bucky scored 17 points.

This marked Mega’s fourth victory over an American university in preseason games. The first came in 2018 in Spain, when Mega defeated Michigan. A year later, Mega got the better of Texas Tech in the Bahamas. Then, in 2022, they defeated Virginia in Italy, and now they have added Auburn to the list in Mykonos.

Vule Avdalović’s team will face another American university during their preparations for the new season. On August 27 in Dubrovnik, Mega will take on the University of Michigan, the reigning NCAA champions.
