MEGA SUPER JUNIORS TRAVEL TO ULM FOR EUROLEAGUE QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT

The Mega Super junior (U18) team has traveled to Ulm, where it will compete in the EuroLeague Next Gen qualifying tournament from February 6 to 8. The games will be played at the Orange Campus sports complex, with only the tournament winner earning a spot at the Final Tournament, which will take place in Athens alongside the EuroLeague Final Four.

Mega Super has been drawn into Group B, together with ASVEL, Manresa, and Olympiacos. Their opening game is scheduled for Friday, February 6, at 15:45 against Olympiacos from Piraeus.

Head coach Dejan Pejić will have the following roster at his disposal: Lun Jarc, Vuk Stepanović, Aleksa Stiković, Đorđe Lilić, Vuk Danilović, Marko Savić, Nikola Karalić, Benjamin Teletović, Đorđe Gnjato, Petar Bjelica, Andrej Pavlović, and Maksimilijan Papan.

Ahead of us is the EuroLeague junior qualifying tournament in Ulm, with three games in a very demanding schedule. We are aware of the challenges that await us, but the players have trained extremely well in the previous period and the atmosphere within the team is excellent. We are ready to fight and give our maximum in every game, and we can’t wait for the tournament to begin,” Pejić said ahead of the start of the qualifiers in Germany.

Mega Super won the EuroLeague Junior title in Belgrade in 2022 and has been a regular participant at the Final Tournaments for years, also reaching the final in both 2017 and 2019.
