MEGA SUPERBET HOSTS VIENNA, AVDALOVIĆ: “THE FIRST GAME OF THE NEW YEAR WILL BE VERY IMPORTANT FOR US”

Mega Superbet will host BC Vienna in their first game of 2026, as part of Round 13 of the ABA League. The game is scheduled for Monday, January 5, at 7:00 PM, at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall. Admission is free, and free tickets can be picked up at the arena box office from 6:00 PM until tip-off.

Mega Superbet head coach Vule Avdalović shared his expectations ahead of the clash with the Austrian side:

“The first game of the new year will be very important for us. We have to play an excellent game and secure a win. Even though Vienna recorded their last ABA League victory back in October, at home and precisely against us, we cannot afford to relax. Our approach has to be at a high level from the very beginning,” said Avdalović.

Mega Superbet player Asim Đulović emphasized that a win is imperative:

“This will be a demanding game for us, and we have only one goal — to win. We trained well, so I believe we are ready for the game. The result is extremely important for us at this moment,” added Đulović.

In the first part of the season, Vienna defeated Mega Superbet at home. The upcoming game finds Vienna with a 2–8 record, while Mega Superbet stands at 3–8.
