BIG WIN FOR MEGA SUPERBET AGAINST CSKA IN MOSCOW

Mega Superbet opened the Winline Basket Cup with a huge victory, defeating CSKA Moscow on the road 82–71 (25–20, 14–22, 20–17, 22–13). Vule Avdalović’s team started the game strongly, winning the first quarter, but CSKA responded and turned things around by halftime. The battle continued throughout the second half, as Mega managed to tie the game heading into the final 10 minutes, before taking control, pulling away, and deservedly claiming an impressive win.

Mega Superbet was led by Luigi Suigo, who posted 18 points and five rebounds, Asim Đulović with 17 points and five boards, and Savo Drezgić, who contributed 14 points, seven assists, and five rebounds. Bogoljub Marković also had a solid performance with eight points and six rebounds.

For CSKA, Antonius Cleveland scored 14 points, Anton Astapkovich added 13, Livio Jean-Charles had 11, and Melo Trimble finished with 10 points.

The game was tightly contested until the closing moments of the first quarter, when Mega took control after a scoring run led by Đulović, entering the first break with a five-point lead (25–20). However, CSKA responded in the second period, regaining the advantage midway through the quarter. Avdalović’s side managed to stay close but couldn’t reclaim the lead, and CSKA went into halftime up 42–39.

Early in the second half, Mega Superbet quickly turned the tide — Suigo scored to make it 48–47, setting the tone for a fierce battle for every possession. The teams kept trading leads, and the third quarter ended tied at 59–59. Kroflič opened the final period with five straight points, sparking a 12–1 run that gave Mega an 11-point cushion. CSKA managed to cut the deficit to four, but Đulović responded with a three-pointer, and Kroflič sealed the deal from the free-throw line, clinching a memorable win for Mega Superbet in Moscow.

Their next Winline Basket Cup game will be played on Tuesday, November 4, when Mega Superbet hosts Lokomotiv Kuban at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall.
