MEGA SUPERBET ENDS SUPERLEAGUE SEASON WITH LOSS TO FMP

Mega Superbet’s basketball team ended its 2024/25 season with a 77–73 loss to FMP Soccerbet in the second game of the Serbian SuperLeague quarterfinals. With this defeat, Mega is eliminated from the domestic competition, while FMP advances to the semifinals, where they will face Partizan.

Filip Jović led Mega with 19 points and 7 rebounds, while Urban Kroflič and Ilija Milijašević each added 12 points. For the winning side, Filip Barna was the standout performer with 24 points.

The game was tied at halftime (41–41). Mega started well, opening with a 4–0 run and maintaining a slim lead for most of the first quarter. In the second, both teams traded leads, with the period marked by tension and four technical fouls—two on each side. Miljenović and Scott were penalized first, followed by Tanasković and Šaranović.

In the second half, FMP gradually took control and held a steady lead, extending it to eight points (58–50) with three minutes left in the third quarter. Kroflič sparked a late push for Mega, cutting the deficit to just two points with a minute and a half remaining, but they couldn’t get over the hump.
