MEGA SUPERBET HOSTS SPLIT, BARAĆ: “WE WANT TO MAINTAIN CONSISTENCY IN GOOD PERFORMANCES”
After last weekend’s victory over Mornar, Mega Superbet will face Split in Round 20 of the ABA League. The game is scheduled for Sunday, February 9, at 12:00 PM at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall, with free admission. Complimentary tickets can be collected at the hall’s ticket office from 11:00 AM until the start of the game.
Mega Superbet head coach Marko Barać shared his expectations ahead of the matchup against the Croatian team:
“We are expecting a tough game against a team coming off a challenging schedule. Split recently changed their coach, and we can already see new ideas in their play. After a convincing win in the last round, we want to maintain consistency in good performances,” said Barać.
Mega Superbet player Andrija Jelavić is eager for a victory:
“After the loss in the first part of the season, we are certainly highly motivated and ready for this game. We know it will be very tough, as Split is a strong and experienced team. However, it’s up to us to stay fully focused, play our best game, and ultimately achieve our goal – victory,” added Jelavić.
Mega Superbet lost to Split 80:90 in the first half of the season, but they remain undefeated at home (4-0) against the Yellow team in the ABA League.
