Talented Slovenian guard Urban Kroflič (18, 198 cm) has signed a multi-year contract with Mega MIS! Kroflič will be eligible to play for Mega’s first team in the Serbian Super League.

Kroflič has been playing for OKK Belgrade this season, where he has averaged 8.2 points and 2.1 assists per game.

Upon signing the contract with Mega, Urban Kroflič expressed his gratitude to everyone at the club for their tremendous support and trust:

I am very happy to continue my development at Mega by signing this contract, where I have had wonderful moments in the youth teams. This motivates me to keep working and improving. I would like to thank everyone at the club for their great support and the trust they have shown in me,” stated Kroflič.

Urban Kroflič was born on March 28, 2006, in Celje, Slovenia. Standing at 198 centimeters, he plays as a guard. He joined Mega during the summer of 2022 and, in his first season, won two titles with the club’s youth teams, the Junior ABA League and the Serbian Junior Championship, and reached the final tournament of the Junior EuroLeague in Kaunas. This season, he has successfully played for OKK Belgrade.

He made a significant impact while representing the Slovenian national team at the U16 European Championship in 2022, averaging 20.7 points and 8 rebounds per game. Last summer, he also played for the U18 national team at the European Championship, where he averaged 12.4 points and 4.3 rebounds. In August of last year, he participated in the Basketball Without Borders Europe 2023 camp held in Wroclaw.
