MEGA MOZZART WELCOMES ZADAR IN THE MEGA FACTORY HALL

On Sunday, December 19, at 12 o’clock, Mega Mozzart will host Zadar in the 12th round of the ABA League, and the venue has been changed to the Mega Factory Hall due to a leaking roof in the Sports Hall, where the match will be played in limited capacity and in accordance with health measures.

It will not be possible to attend the match without a ticket, and an extremely limited number of them will be able to be picked up at the Mega Factory Hall on Sunday from 11 am until the start of the match.

Mega’s coach Vladimir Jovanovic pointed out that it is important for Mega to bring the game into its rhythm:

– Regardless of their position in the ABA league, they have started to play much better for some time, and at the same time they are the first in the Croatian championship. Changes in the coaching staff and roster brought better games, especially in the match with Cedevita Olimpija, where they showed that they have the quality to beat a serious team on the road. The axis is the back tandem of Carter and Mavra, reinforced with a new player, Thompson, who is a reinforcement in back court. For us, it is first of all important to rearrange the roles after the injury of Cazalon and to bring the game into our rhythm,

said coach of Mega.

Mega Mozzart welcomes the match against Zadar with five victories and six defeats, while Zadar recorded two victories with nine defeats. Mega and Zadar have met 16 times so far in the regional competition with a score of 10-6 for Mega, and the last match was in the 15th round of the ABA league last season when Mega celebrated in Zadar with 83:90. In the last round of the regional competition, Mega defeated Split at home with 78:65, while Zadar lost at home to Mornar with 71:76.

Before the match against Zadar, Mega’s Guard Nikola Djurisic said that his team is in a good rhythm:

– A difficult match against Zadar awaits us. We must not allow ourselves to be deceived by their position on the table, they beat Cedevita Olimpija on the road and played several close matches with the favorites. We got into a good rhythm, we practice very well and we will do our best to come to a victory that would mean a lot to us,

Djurisic said.
