MEGA WITHOUT STRENGTH IN LAST QUARTER, BORAC WITH THREES TO THE WIN

Mega stopped in the last quarter, Borac celebrated in Cacak.

In the 4th round of the AdmiralBet ABA league, Mega Basket lost to Borac in Cacak with 80:68 (13:18, 29:14, 18:24, 20:12). Coach Vladimir Jovanovic’s team started the match well in a game full of reversals, and in the second quarter, Borac turned it around and reached a double-digit advantage. In the continuation, Mega managed to take a short lead, but the home team punished Mega’s mistakes with threes and came to victory in a calm finish.

The most efficient in the ranks of Mega were Borisa Simanic with 17 points and Karlo Matkovic with 12. In Borac, the best was Hunter Hale with 26 points.

After four rounds of the AdmiralBet ABA league, Mega Basket and Borac have a score of 2-2. Mega will meet FMP in the next round of the AdmiralBet ABA league, and the match is scheduled for Sunday, October 24 at 12 o’clock in the Hall of sports Ranko Zeravica in Novi Beograd.

Vladimir Jovanovic started the match with the following five: Smith, Cazalon, Jovic, Simanic and Matkovic. The home team started the game better and in the middle of the first quarter, with two three-pointers, reached a 10:5 lead. Simanic is great at the beginning of the third quarter with three triples and a block, so Mega drops the minus to four points. Mega continued with an excellent defense, and0reached the advantage from the free throw line and with Djurisic’s triple, 51:52. However, the finish of the quarter belonged to the home team, which leads 60:56 before the last 10 minutes of the game.

Mega did not manage to reach the point even at the beginning of the last quarter, so Borac started to break away. When Mega started to score in the attack, Borac repulsed the attack with threes, so in the calm finish, they brought the game to an end for the final 80:68.
