REPORT FROM THE FIRST DAY OF U19 ABA LEAGUE SEMIFINAL TOURNAMENT

On the first day of the semi-final tournament of the Junior ABA League, which is being held in the Mega Factory Hall, four matches were played and in the derby of the day the juniors of Mega Bemax defeated Partizan with 74:89.

In the derby of the first day of the semi-final tournament of the junior ABA league which is held in the Mega Factory hall in Belgrade, the juniors of Mega Bemax defeated Partizan NIS with 74:89 (14:26, 16:23, 24:25, 20:15). Coach Dragoljub Avramovic’s players opened the match with a 0:11 rn, and at one point they also had a plus 27 to routinely afterwards brought the match to the end.

The most efficient in the Mega Bemax ranks were Aleksandar Langovic with 25 points and Nikola Djurisic with 14, while Lazar Stefanovic with 17 points was the best in Partizan.

The next match Mega’s juniors will play on Friday at 9:30 AM and the two best placed teams in the group will qualify for the final tournament.

In the first game of the junior ABA Semifinals, U19 Cibona were convincing against U19 with Krka 100:71 (14:21, 38:12, 31:15, 17:23). The most efficient in the Cibona ranks were Vito Porobic with 25 points and Lovro Gnjidic with 22. In the Krka ranks the strongest was Jaka Mori with 14 points.

In the second game in the semi-final tournament of the Junior ABA League, Igokea and Buducnost VOLI met, and the juniors of Igokea won with 85:83 (30:26, 13:17, 23:19, 19:21). The most efficient in the Igokea ranks were Kosta Kondic with 26 points and Djordje Topolovic with 21 while Fedor Zugic stood out with 28 points in Buducnost.

In the last game of the day Cibona defeated Igokea with 90:68 (18:16, 24:23, 28:15, 20:14). The most efficient in the Cibona ranks were Sandro Rasic with 29 points and Hrvoje Majcunic with 20, while in Igokea the best was Djordje Topolovic with 20.
