MARKOVIC EXCELLENT IN WIN OF U18 SERBIA AGAINST FINLAND

Serbia Under-18 team defeated Finland by 82:62 as part of the fight for placement from 9th-16th place in the U18 European Championships in Volos, Greece. With this victory, Serbian juniors secured survival in the A Division.

Of the Mega Bemax players, the best was Aleksa Markovic, who had 10 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals and 1 block in 18 minutes, Aleksandar Langovic had 10 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block while Marko Andrić had 2 points, 4 rebounds, 4assists, as well as 1 steal and 1 block.

Marko Kljajevic in the Montenegrin win against the Netherlands with 88:78 had 6 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal.

Serbia will play with Germany on Saturday at 1:30 pm in the game for the placement from 9th to 12th place while Montenegro will play against Italy.
