MEGA BEMAX IS VISITING ZAGREB, ASCERIC: “TO SE WHERE WE ARE COMPARED TO THE STRONGEST TEAMS IN LEAGUE”

On Saturday, ABA League competition continues and in the 3rd round of competition from 21:00 Mega Bemax will play in Zagreb against Cedevita. Basketball players of Mega at Basketball Center “Drazen Petrovic” expects a high quality opponent who in the last match before this match defeated German Alba in Eurocup. Coach Dejan Milojevic will not be able to count on Branislav Ratkovica on this match because of injury.

Coach of Mega, before the match with Cedevita, pointed out that the match in Zagreb is a good opportunity for Megam to see where it is compared to the strongest teams in the league:

– On Saturday we expect a very high quality opponent in Zagreb. After defeat at the start, they started to rise and won against German Alba in Eurocup. We have a good start to the season, but that can not satisfy us and relax us. In order to come up with a chance to fight for victory, we have to play aggressively in the defense and to approach the match with the necessary energy and concentration. Cedevita is a favorite, but in every match we are going for the win and this will be a good opportunity to see where we are compared to one of the strongest teams in the league,

Mega and Cedevita have so far met 10 times in the ABA league and Mega has celebrated in 2 encounters. Interestingly, the encounters in Zagreb were mostly very uncertain, and in the last game in the 17th round of last season, Cedevita celebrated with 75:73.

Luka Ašćerić stated before the match in Zagreb that the team needs to show a high rhythm as in the first two matches in the ABA league:

– Cedevita is one of the best teams in the ABA league. This is a real opportunity for us to see where we are against the strongest teams in the league. We need to enter aggressively in the match and keep high rhythm as in the first two matches.
