PIONEERS (U15) OF MEGA AGAINST VIZURA FOR THE THIRD PLACE, MLADOST AND CRVENA ZVEZDA FOR THE TITLE

On Saturday, semi-final matches of Serbia’s championship for pioneers (U15) were held in the Mega Factory hall in Belgrade, and Mladost and Crvena zvezda mts will fight for the title while Banjica Mega will play third place against Vizura.

Basketball players of KK Banjica Mega did not manage to advance the finals of Serbia’s championship for pioneers (U15) since Crvena Zvezda mts celebrated with 58:62 (16:13, 15:30, 20:14, 17:15). The players of the coach, Aleksandar colic, came back several times from a double-digit minus with an excellent defense with 24 steals balls, but missed free throws (13) and a bad FG shot (30%) eventually cost them finals and opportunity to try to defend the title won last year.

In the ranks of KK Banjica Mega Nikola Petojevic had 16 points, Boris Milic 15 with 7 stolen balls while Lazar Andric scored 14 points. The best in the Crvena zvezda mts was Filip Brankovic with 29 points and 18 rebounds.

In the first semi-finals of the championship of Serbia for the pioneers (U15) Mladost beat Vizura with 96:103 (30:21, 25:27, 25:27, 16:28). Vizura had the advantage of 16 points in the second quarter, but Mladost managed to return to the match and to bring back uncertainty and  to lead at the beginning of the last period of the game so that through the fantastic Srdjan Popovic kept advantage and advanced to the finals.

The best in the ranks of Mladost was Srdjan Popovic with 54 points scored (FG 18-32), while in Vizura the most efficient were Andrej Joksimovic with 38 and Andrija Grbovic with 36 points.
