MILOJEVIC: “WE DIDN’T GIVE UP, TURNOVERS COST US VICTORY”

Although decimated by injuries that cause five players not to play, Mega Bemax made it to the final quarter to be in tight match, but Borac finally won 81:88 in the Mega Factory Hall in Belgrade and thus remained undefeated at the head of Group A of Super League.

The captain of Mega Bemax Ognjen Carapic pointed out that the lost balls were crucial:

– We had good energy throughout the match, but a lot of mistakees in the defense that they used to hit open shits. I think that our lost balls were crucial. They led throughout the match and deservedly celebrated at the end,

said Carapic.

Coach of Mega Bemax Dejan Milojevic stated that the team remains to continue to rise in the following matches:

– Congratulations to Borac for winning. Although you can never be satisfied when you lose the match, I can be pleased as far as possible in comparison to defeat. The team did not give up, we played a solid and quality match against a good team. In relation to the youth we have, we made a lot of mistakes that ultimately cost us victory. We managed to get back two, three times solid and with an aggressive defense to return to the game, we were in the tied match, but Borac ultimately with their experience managed to bring the game in the end and deservedly to celebrate,

Milojevic said and continued:

– We’re still going to continue to climb, this game was better compared to some of the previous ones, and I hope that the win will come in the next games. This is a great school for our team that is practically junior and that most players get an invaluable experience by playing such senior-level games. For young players we need to have patience and no one has become a player without learning from mistakes,

Milojevic finished.
