JARAMAZ AGAIN IN MEGA: “I AM VERY EXCITED BECAUSE OF EVERYTHING THAT WILL FOLLOW”

Basketball Club Mega Bemax will be significantly stronger in the continuation of the season as the new contract with the club was signed by Ognjen Jaramaz. For the young and talented Mega’s guard this will be the fifth season in the club with which he won the Radivoje Korac Cup two seasons ago, played the finals of the ABA League playoff and in whose jersey was selected at the last draft as 58th pick by New York Knicks, for which he played in the Summer League.

Ognjen Jaramaz, after signing the contract, was very excited about the new “debut” in the Mega’s jersey:

– I am very pleased that the moment when I will again play the official game is nearing. In the wake of unfortunate circumstances, I was forced to make a long break. It was a pulmonary embolism that has now been completely rehabilitated. I’m healthy, I feel great and that’s the most important thing to me,

Jaramaz said, and then continued:

– Also, I’m glad that I will play the first match in the club I spent the previous five years. I’m familiar with the system as well. Therefore, there will be no problem to fit in, although I have been away for a longer period of time. I am extremely motivated and optimistic about the upcoming part of the season … and when it comes to the team, and when it comes to me, of course. I believe that the results will be getting better as time goes on, and I hope that my contribution to such results will be significant. All in all, I am extremely excited about everything that follows,

Jaramaz said.

Ognjen Jaramaz will be the player with the longest stay in Mega Bemax from all the players in the club. Born on September 1, 1995, he plays as a guard and he is in Mega since the age of 17. In the ABA league last season, he scored 10.8 points and had 3.6 assists on average, in the Basketball Champions League he scored 11.9 points and got 3.1 assists, while in the Super League he had 14.5 points and 3.7 assists.

Last two years, he was invited to a wider list of Serbian national team and with Serbia U21 at the European Championship he won the bronze in 2014 and the gold in 2015.

Welcome back Jerry!
