BITADZE: “WE KNOW QUALITIES OF OLIMPIJA, BUT WE ARE ALSO AWARE OF OURS ADVANTAGES”

Mega Bemax players will play the first match in 2018 on Friday, January 5th, at 19:00, when they will play against Petrol Olimpija in Ljubljana. The match of the 15th round of the ABA League played in the hall “Stozice” will be a chance for players of coach Dejan Milojevic to start the new year with a win. The coach of Mega Bemax in this match becaus of injuries will not be able to count on Carapic, Miskovic and Aranitovic while the last reinforcement Ognjen Jaramaz will travel with the team.

Coach of Mega Bemax Dejan Milojević pointed out that he believes in the triumph of the team in Ljubljana:

– On Friday we are expecting the first match in the new year against Olimpija in Ljubljana. We play against a very high quality opponent. The defeat in the uncertain finishes in some previous matches has affected our young team, but I believe that we will continue to grow and that in accordance with it, victories will come. We work well on practices and I believe that with aggressive defense throughout the match and with a calm hand and head in crucial moments, we will be able to come up with a chance to record a triumph and thus improve our placement on the table,

Milojevic said.

Mega Bemax and Petrol Olimpija have so far met nine times in the ABA league and Mega has celebrated in three matches. In the last match within the 4th round of the ABA League this season, Olimpija won in Sremska Mitrovica with 77:86.

The young center of Mega Bemax Goga Bitadze, currently the first blocker and the third rebounder in ABA League, highlights the importance of the match in Ljubljana:

– This is a very important game for us. We know the qualities of Olimpija, but we are also aware of our strengths. It’s up to us to do our best, which includes above all an aggressive defense and a lot of energy on the ground. If we manage to bring Olimpija into our rhythm in the game, I believe we will have a good chance to celebrate on a tough away match and that in the right way to start the new year,

Match Petrol Olimpija – Mega Bemax is scheduled for Friday, January 5th, from 19:00 in the hall  “Stozice” in Ljubljana with a live broadcast on TV Arena Sport.
