MEGA STOPPED IN FINISH, PARTIZAN TOOK VICTORY FROM SREMSKA MITROVICA

Players of Mega Leks in a crowded hall PSC Pinki in front of 3000 spectators failed to come to a win over Partizan since the guests from Belgrade celebrated with 80:87 (24:26, 19:21, 19:21, 18:19). Mega has succeeded in the last quarter from 64:73 with a series of 13:2 to take the lead but in the last few minutes completely stopped in the attack, which Partizan used to reach the triumph. Coach of Mega Leks Dejan Milojevic in this match could not count on Cancar, Mushidi and Carapi.

The most efficient in the ranks of Mega Leks were Alphaa Kaba with 18 points and Rade Zagorac with 16 and very good was Aleksandar Marelja with 15 points with only one missed shot in the game. In the visiting team the most effective were Bircevic and Andric with 20 points. After this match Mega with a score 9-15 shares the 9th place at standings  and in the next round on Saturday from 21:00 plays in Zagreb against Cibona.

In break between first and second quarter in the hall were greeted with thunderous applause pioneers of Mega Bemax led by coach Stefan Bulatovic, who have won in the first edition of the Mini Cup Beobasket 2017, which was held during Radivoj Korac Cup.

Dejan Milojevic started the match with the following five: Novak, Jaramaz, Simeunovic, Spasojevic and Kaba. After a 0:5 at the start of the match, Mega strikes series of 7:0 with a great points in paint of Kaba and brilliant dunk of Zagorac. Partizan match the new series which was interrupted by threes of Zagorac and Spasojevic. In came Marelja who quickly achieved points under foul. By the end of the quarter was played basket for basket and score after 10 minutes was 24:26.

In the second quarter Partizan managed to keep the lead to 5 points, but over Zagorac Mega managed to take the lead, 34:33. Weaker period for Mega guests used it to reach the minimum advantage. Mega with points of Zagorac and Kaba did not allowed guests to peel of, so the first half ended with 43:47.

In the third quarter the Marelja long held Mega on two to three baskets deficit. Guests before the end of the period took lead  59:68. However, Novak woth characteristic triple on one leg with the buzzer hit  for the score 62:68 after 30 minutes.

Partizan returns plus 9 in 32nd minutes, but Kaba animated the series points and brought back Mega in the game. Novak hit a three for 75:75 and then Kaba score under a foul for lead 77:75 after 36 minutes. After that, the Mega stopped completely in the attack which Partizan took advantage to reach key series for the final victory, 80:87.
