MILOJEVIC: “WE HAD OUR CHANCES AGAINST OOSTENDE, BAD SHOOTING NIGHT WAS KEY”

Ognjen Jaramaz with 15 points was the most efficient in the defeat of Mega Leks from Oostende with 82:74, at a press conference after the match highlighted mistakes and missed free throws as a key for defeat of Mega:

– We started the match very well, but we fell in the game in the second quarter, which team like Oostende know to use. In the third quarter we started to play better defense with the pressure, with which we forced them to lose a few balls. We made too many mistakes in the last period, we missed six free throws, which, along with several of their offensive rebounds, was the key to our defeat in this match. I hope we will play well the next game and get the victory,

said Jaramaz.

Coach of Mega Leks Dejan Milojevic said that he is generally happy with the energy of the team on the court:

– Congratulations to Oostende to win. We had our chances in this match but in the clutch moments we missed six free throws in a row, and when you add 20 percent percentage for 3 points, it is very difficult in this way to overcome a quality team as it is Oostende. Overall I was pleased with the energy on the court, with pressure  we made big problems to Oostende who lost a lot of balls, but we did not materialize it due to poor shooting evening. I wish good luck to Oostende in the season and I hope they qualify for the next round of the Champions League,

said Milojevic.
