IVANOVIC: “WE DO NOT STOP WITH SURPRISES”

Another sensational victory this season for basketball public in the region was presented by Mega Leks. By far the youngest team of ABA league, although decimated by injuries, defeated the leaders of the regional league part of the competition and so came to the brink of qualifying for the finals of the playoffs.

Impressions after the glorious triumph conveyed the point guard Nikola Ivanovic:

– We arrived in Podgorica as a total outsider. Buducnost was the absolute favorite in this match. But we simply do not stop with surprises. After winning Radivoj Korac Cup, this was another great victory. Now we have five days to analyze this match and try to play even better in Sremska Mitrovica. After such a well-played game I think we can rightly hope to the finals of the playoffs – said Ivanovic.

Former player of Buducnost has provided an outstanding game with 11 points and 12 assists. At this journalistic statement Ivanović said:

– I am pleased with what I like many minutes, in a vast part of the match managed to control developments on the ground and control game of my team in the attack. I am satisfied with my performance even though shooting percentage was not very satisfactory, but in general it was pretty good.

Asked to comment on a referees decision in the finish of the match, when after a foul on Omar Cook, he was awarded three free throws, the answer was assumed by Mega Leks coach Dejan Milojevic:

– We do not comment the referees – briefly said Milojevic.
