CONVINCING MEGA IN PANCEVO FOR THE FIRST WIN IN THE SUPERLEAGUE!

In the game of the fourth round of Superleague Mega Leks came up with a win as they defeated Tamis in Pancevo with result 61:102  (18:22, 11:26, 23:33, 9:21). Coach Dejan Milojevic was sent of after a few minutes due to two consecutive tehnical fouls and Nenad Canak led the team for the rest of the game.

Mega Leks started the game with Miljenovic, Zagorac, Keselj, Jokic and Sulovic. Sulovic started the game with two layups, one after offensive rebound, second after assist from Zagorac. Jokic scored two baskets for plus 3 for Mega, 5:8. Kesar scored triple after the few minutes without the score for Tamis. At score 8:10, referees gave Dejan Milojevic two consecutive tehnical fouls in a span of few seconds so the coach of Mega Leks had to leave the bench and for the rest of the game, Nenad Canak led the team. Jokic has continued to perform well, and upon entering the game, he was joined by Danilo Nikolic so the result in last two minutes was plus 4 for Mega, 14:18. After the couple of points on both sides, the quarter ended with 18:22.

The second quarter began with couple of misses but after a layup from Keselj and triple from Nikolic, Mega had plus 7. Tamis scored but in the next attack Zagorac had a great dunk for 23:30. Tamis called time-out with the score 25:34 after a few minutes in the second quarter. Webster scored layup and two free throws for plus 15, 29:44. Zagorac ender quarter with layup after a offensive rebound, 29:48. The best in Mega Leks were Jokic with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Nikolic with 11 points.

The second half started with beautiful Zagorac assist for easy dunk for Jokic. Keselj scored 5 points for 37:57 but Tamis answered with 6 points. In very next attack Keselj scored three points. In the following minutes Mega held the advantage and Zagorac completed a few fast breaks and took Mega to plus 26. Krstic ended quarter with another triple for 52:81.

In the last quarter Mega Leks routinely brought the match to the end so the reservists got the chance to play. The match was ended with Jaramaz, Krstic, Simovic, Bojic and Veljkovic on the court and the final score was 61:102.

In Tamis Kesar with 18 pts and Kruscic with 12 pts were best.

Mega Leks playes next game on Monday 11th of May, when they will host Konstantin.
