MEGA SUPERBET HOSTS SPLIT, AVDALOVIĆ: “WE WILL HAVE TO STAY FULLY FOCUSED”

Mega Superbet will host Split in Round 9 of the ABA League playout phase at Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall. The game is scheduled for Monday, April 20, at 19:00, and admission is free. Free tickets can be picked up at the venue box office from 18:00 until tip-off.

Mega Superbet head coach Vule Avdalović shared his expectations ahead of the matchup:

“Tomorrow we face a very important game against Split. We know we suffered a loss in their arena back in March, but now we’re playing at home, in front of our fans, and we have a chance to respond. They have experienced players who know how to punish every mistake, and they will be highly motivated. We will have to stay fully focused, especially on defense, in order to secure an important win. I invite our fans to come in large numbers and help us create a great atmosphere in the arena,” said Avdalović.

Mega Superbet player Urban Kroflič emphasized that the team will give its all to get the win:

“We’re expecting a challenging game against a quality Split team. At this stage, every game is important, so we need to perform at a high level to stay in the race near the top of the standings. We will give our best to secure another victory,” added Kroflič.

Mega Superbet enters Round 9 of the playout phase with a 10–14 record, while Split sits at the bottom of the standings at 6–18. The two teams have met 11 times so far, with Mega winning all five home games.
