MEGA SUPERBET HOSTS FMP, AVDALOVIĆ: “I EXPECT A TOUGH, PHYSICAL GAME”
Mega Superbet basketball team continues its fight for the very top of the table in the ABA League Play-out phase, and in Round 6 they will host FMP. The game is scheduled for Saturday, March 28 at 12:00, with a live broadcast on TV Arena Sport.
Mega Superbet head coach Vule Avdalović shared his expectations ahead of the upcoming game:
– We are facing a very important match against FMP. We know it’s a team that always plays with great energy, aggressively on defense and fast in transition. First and foremost, we need to be ready for their physical style of play and to control the pace of the game. The key will be our defense—to stop their fast play and not allow easy points in transition. I expect a tough, physical game and I hope for a win that would mean a lot to us in the rest of the season,
said Avdalović.
Mega Superbet player Luigi Suigo emphasized that this will be an important clash for him and his teammates:
– This will be a big challenge for us. We are playing against a city rival who defeated us in the first game. The goal is to repeat the performances we delivered in matches against Derby, Borac, and Krka, and to secure a new win that would be very important for us in the continued fight for the top of the table in our group,
said Suigo.
Mega Superbet is currently second in the Play-out standings with a 9–12 record, while FMP is seventh with 8 wins and 12 losses, although the team from Železnik has one game in hand.
