BOGOLJUB MARKOVIĆ NAMED ABA LEAGUE MVP FOR THE 2025/26 SEASON

Mega Superbet forward Bogoljub Marković has been named the ABA League MVP for the 2025/26 season and will receive the Dejan Milojević Trophy, traditionally awarded to the league’s best player. The talented youngster earned 50.4% of the total votes, finishing ahead of Dušan Miletić from Cluj (11.4%) and his teammate Mitchell Creek (9.5%).

It’s worth noting that Marković received the most votes from ABA League coaches and journalists, while Dwayne Washington and Carlik Jones led the fan voting. This marks his third individual accolade this season, having already been named Best Young Player and selected to the All-ABA League First Team.

The 2025/26 campaign was Marković’s fourth in the ABA League, and he averaged 18.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, along with one steal and one block per game, posting a league-best average PIR of 23.8.

He recorded a PIR above 40 in three games during the season — against Borac Čačak (26 points, 16 rebounds, PIR 42), Krka (30 points, 10 rebounds, PIR 41), and Crvena zvezda (29 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, PIR 41). He also registered a double-double in ten games.

Marković was named MVP of the Round four times — more than any other player this season — in Round 5 (PIR 35), Round 17 (PIR 41), Round 7 of the play-out phase (PIR 41), and Round 10 of the play-out phase (PIR 42).

He becomes just the third Mega player to win the ABA League MVP award, following Nikola Jokić (2014/15) and Filip Petrušev (2020/21).
