BOGOLJUB MARKOVIĆ GOES BACK TO BACK AS ABA LEAGUE TOP PROSPECT

Mega Superbet player Bogoljub Marković has been named the best young player of the ABA League for the 2025/26 season for the second consecutive time.

The talented youngster received 50.4% of the total votes, ahead of Pavle Nikolić from Borac with 19.1%, and his teammate Savo Drezgić, who collected 11.4% of the votes.

It is worth noting that Bogoljub Marković was the best in all three voting categories – among the head coaches of ABA League teams, journalists, and basketball fans, which makes his achievement even more impressive.

The 2025/26 season was Marković’s fourth in the ABA League so far, and he averaged 18.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, and a performance index rating of 23.8.

In three games during the season, he recorded a performance index above 40 – against Borac in Čačak (26 points, 16 rebounds, index 42), Krka (30 points, 10 rebounds, index 41), and Crvena zvezda (29 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, index 41). He also recorded a double-double in as many as ten games.

Bogoljub Marković is the sixth Mega player to be named the ABA League Top Prospect, and the first to win this award twice. Previously, this prestigious recognition was won by Nikola Jokić, Filip Petrušev, Nikola Jović, Nikola Đurišić, and Nikola Topić, who earned the award while playing for both Mega and Crvena zvezda.
