MEGA MIS JUNIORS BEGIN THE FIGHT AT THE FINAL ANGT TOURNAMENT OF THE JUNIOR EUROLEAGUE

Mega MIS juniors will again participate in the final ANGT (Adidas Next Generation Tournament) of the Junior EuroLeague, which will be held in Berlin from May 23 to 26. They are placed in Group A with teams from Olimpia Milano, Ulm, and the reigning champion Real Madrid. Their first match in the “Uber Eats Music” arena will be on Thursday, May 23, at 11:15 AM, against the German representative Ulm.

The coach of the Mega MIS juniors, Dragoljub Avramović, will have the following 12 players at his disposal: Urban Kroflič, Dejan Filipović, Vuk Danilović, Jack Kayil, Luka Solomun, Abdramane Siby, Nikola Karalić, Ognjen Nikolić, Ognjen Srzentić, Aleksandar Vojinović, Pavle Bačko, and Petar Milosavčević.

Avramović briefly shared his expectations before the tournament began:

“In tournaments like this, there are no weaker or stronger opponents. Every match is like a small final, and I am sure we will give our best and try to achieve the best possible result,” said the coach of the Mega MIS juniors.

Other participants in the ANGT tournament include the juniors of the host team Alba Berlin, the winner of the qualification tournament in Belgrade, Barcelona, then Paris’ INSEP, as well as the American U18 team Overtime Elite, which will be participating in the Junior EuroLeague finals for the first time. These teams are placed in Group B.

All matches will be broadcast on the official EuroLeague YouTube channel, and the final, in which the winners of Group A and Group B will face each other, is scheduled for Sunday, May 26, at 12:30 PM.

Since 2016, Mega has regularly participated in the final ANGT tournaments, and in 2022, they won the Junior EuroLeague. Before that, they played in the finals twice, in 2017 and 2019.
