U15 BANJICA MEGA SECURES SEMIFINAL SPOT WITH CONVINCING VICTORY

The U15 Banjica Mega team has advanced to the semifinals of the final F8 tournament of the Serbian championship with a convincing victory in the quarterfinals against their counterparts from SPD Radnički, with a score of 104-70 (38-17, 30-12, 15-20, 21-21). Under the guidance of Dejan Pejić, the team quickly gained a significant advantage after the opening 10 minutes, which they further extended by halftime. Although the opponent managed to reduce the deficit in the third quarter, the Banjica Mega youth team maintained their lead without major issues and ultimately secured the victory.

The top scorer with 18 points was Uroš Dramićanin, but the most valuable player of the winning team was Lun Jarc, with 16 points and nine assists for a PIR of 27. They were followed by Marko Avdalović with 14 points and nine rebounds (PIR 23), as well as Vuk Stepanović with 14 points, six rebounds, and four assists (PIR 20), and David Iordanchescu with 13 points, seven rebounds, along with three assists and steals each (PIR 19). Miloš Marković contributed with 13 points, while Petar Bjelica scored 12.

In the semifinals, the Banjica Mega youth team will face the winner between the teams Sport’s World and Trijumf, with the battle for the final scheduled for Saturday, May 18th, at 17:00, in the Sports Hall of Arilje.
