MEGA MIS AFTER THE BREAK VISITS NOVO MESTO, BARAĆ: “EXTREMELY IMPORTANT MATCH, KRKA PLAYED EXCEPTIONALLY WELL AGAINST US IN THE FIRST PART”

The Mega MIS basketball team is returning to action after a national team break, and they are set to face Krka in Novo Mesto as part of the 21st round of the ABA League. The match at the Leon Štukelj Hall is scheduled for Sunday, March 3rd, at 5:00 PM, with live coverage on TV Arena Sport.

Mega MIS currently holds the seventh position in the regional competition with a record of 10 wins and 10 losses, while Krka is second to last with six fewer victories (4-16). However, coach Marko Barać has great respect for the Slovenian team:

This is an extremely important match for both teams. Krka played exceptionally well against us in the first part of the season. They are an experienced team with good individual players. We’ll see how we react after the break; we’re all eager for the games. We need the highest possible concentration and energy to win on the challenging court in Novo Mesto,” said Barać.

Mega MIS player Filip Jović also emphasizes the significance of the upcoming match:

We are facing a tough away game. We need to play solidly from the very beginning, and with good focus, I believe we can secure a victory in this crucial match for us,” added Jović.

This will be the 18th meeting between Mega MIS and Krka in the ABA League, with Mega having been more successful with 10 victories.
