MEGA MIS AND SAŠA STEFANOVIĆ PARTED WAYS ON MUTUAL AGREEMENT

Serbian basketball player Aleksandar Saša Stefanović and Mega MIS have reached an agreement on mutual termination of cooperation. The former member of Purdue’s varsity team in the NCAA joined Marko Barac’s team from Greek Kolossos in mid-November. He made nine appearances in the Mega jersey, eight in the ABA league and one in the Radivoje Korać Cup.

Aleksandar Stefanović was born on November 29, 1998 in Crown Point, Indiana, he is 196 centimeters tall and plays as a guard. He spent his entire NCAA career at Purdue, where he averaged 10.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3 assists per game in his final season. During last year’s NBA Summer League, he played for San Antonio, and he started his professional career in the Greek Kolossos.

His father, Ljubiša Lu Stefanović, also played basketball professionally, and it is interesting that he was the first Serbian basketball player to be selected in the NBA draft in 1985, when he was selected from the 97th position by the then Seattle Supersonics.

Thanks for everything Sasha and good luck!
