A 100-POINT WIN FOR U18 MEGA MIS AGAINST PERISTERI, AS THEY DOMINANTLY CRUISE TO THE RISING STARS TOURNAMENT FINAL

U18 Mega MIS first convincingly defeated their peers from PAOK in the first round (96:62), and then in the semi-finals, they defeated Peristeri and qualified for the grand final of the Rising Stars tournament in Patras – 65:104 (20:28, 5:27, 17:28, 23:21). Dragoljub Avramović’s team once again patiently took the lead, and then crushed their opponents in the second quarter, allowing them only five points, and went to the big break with a massive 30-point difference. They didn’t slow down and, after a short break, reached a 41-point surplus before the final period and, in the last 10 minutes, routinely brought the match to an end.

Bogoljub Marković shone with 27 points and eight rebounds, with excellent shooting percentages (10/13 from the field, 7/8 from the penalty line). All this for a PIR of 27 and the title of player of the match. Filip Jović, the first game’s hero, was not far behind. This time he counted up to 20, but without a miss from the field (8/8 for two), which led to a PIR of 25. The third most useful player on the team with a PIR of 21 was Andrej Mušicki, who finished the match with nine points and seven assists, but without a single missed shot (3/3 from the field, 2/2 from the penalty line).

In addition to 16 points, Asim Đulović also had five rebounds, while Danilo Dožić scored 13 points, with also five boards. Abdramane Siby recorded eight points, five rebounds, and steals for an index of 16.

The U18 team of Mega MIS will fight for the title at the Rising Stars tournament in Patras with Panathinaikos, and the match is scheduled for Sunday at 3:00 pm CET.
