GREAT MEGA CONVINCING AGAINST VIRGINIA IN THE FIRST MATCH IN ITALY

Mega MIS celebrated in the first control game played in Italy, as they beat the University of Virginia 92:73 (27:26, 17:13, 25:20, 23:14).

Coach Marko Barac’s team had an advantage in most of the first half, which at one point amounted to 11 points (44:33), and went to the break with a plus 5 with a very in the mood captain Cerovina, who recorded 15 points in that period (4 -5 for three points). In the rest of the game, Mega completely controlled the play on the field, soon reached a double-digit lead and in the end recorded a convincing victory.

The most effective in the ranks of Mega were Luka Cerovina with 20 points and Danko Brankovic with 19. In Virginia, Kadin Shedrick stood out with 19 points.

Mega MIS will have another meeting with Virginia on Friday at 6 p.m.
