MEGA MOZZART ALREADY ON MONDAY PLAY IN UZICE FOR THE SEMIFINALS OF SUPERLEAGUE

Mega Mozzart on Monday play in Uzice for placement to the semifinals of the Super League.

After the exciting first game of the quarterfinals of the Super League playoffs between Mega and Sloboda, which ended with the victory of Mega 79:78, the second semifinal duel is already on the program on Monday, May 9 at 7 pm in the Hala sportova Veliki park in Uzice. The players of coach Vladimir Jovanovic will look for a victory in Uzice to advance to the semifinals, and a possible third match would be played on Wednesday, May 11, in the Mega Factory hall.

The winner of this quarterfinal series will go to the better team from the duel Sloga – Vojvodina in the semifinals, where the team of Vojvodina is currently leading with 1:0.

In the second game of the quarterfinals of the playoffs against Sloboda, Mega’s coach Vladimir Jovanovic pointed out that he expects the energy of his team to be at a far higher level compared to the first match:

– The first game was expected, considering that the guys who joined and filled the places that appeared with the departure of five players, spent a very short period with us. The periods of good play coincided with the periods when those players who played together for most of the season were on the field. The moment the team had to rotate, every change brought us oscillations in the game. In the end, that brought us one instability in terms of the game in attack, where we reacted less to every change of defense. When Sloboda entered the zone defense in which it was for most of the game, it caused us a lot of problems. We didn’t hit some open shots, but we didn’t attack it in the right way. Again, all this cannot be an alibi because they are young players, but what must be the standard when the team is young is energy. I don’t think we were at the level needed to overcome all these problems. First of all, I expect the reaction of the players at that level. How much we will change in one day, one training, I don’t know, but I expect the energy to be at a much higher level,

said coach of Mega.

At the end of the first game, Mega’s Point Guard Aleksa Uskokovic played a key defense against the Sloboda’s player for win, and before the second duel in Uzice, he pointed out that he hoped that his team would correct things that were not good in the first match:

– With a lot of trouble, we finally managed to beat the very good and unpleasant team of Sloboda. We will surely have another difficult match ahead of us, especially on their court. I hope that we will correct things that were not good in the first game and that with a better game we will be able to qualify for the next round of the competition,

said Uskokovic.

The second match of the quarterfinals of the Super League playoffs against the Sloboda will be played on Monday, May 9, at 7 pm in the Hala sportova Veliki park in Uzice, with a live broadcast on TV Arena Sport.
