On Sunday, March 20, at 12 o’clock, Mega Mozzart will host Mornar in the Ranko Zeravica Sports Hall within the 23rd round of the ABA League. Vladimir Jovanovic’s team will have the opportunity to return to the winning streak against Mornar and record an extremely important victory in the finish of the competition.

Before the match against Mornar, Mega’s coach Vladimir Jovanovic pointed out that his team must play good defense and stop the opponent’s offensive actions:

– We are playing against a team that has been cultivating an attacking style of basketball for many years. Despite all the changes, today they have very experienced home players who have a lot of points in their hands, and despite the absence of Gordic who was one of the main player who connected their qualities in the right way, they still have the quality to score a large number of points. First of all, I mean Jeremic and Vlado Mihailovic, with the help of Sehovic, and with Lazic and Vranjes, they have a very respectable back-court line. They have two internationals inside, Smith and Mosley, who have exceptional quality, as well as Micovic, who threatens with shoot for three points. All in all, they have a very good roster and they are an extremely attacking potent team. We will have to play defense at an highest level, stop their offensive actions and the players who score the most points if we want to play a good game that will be physically demanding, and we must find the right answer, above all, against their center’s line. Also, the concentration will have to be at the highest level since we are playing against experienced players who know how these games are played,

said coach of Mega.

Mega Mozzart currently has 8 wins and 13 losses in the ABA League while Mornar has a score of 7-13. Mega and Mornar have met 10 times so far in the regional competition with a score of 6-4 for Mega, and the last match was in the 10th round of the ABA League this season when Mornar celebrated in Bar with 79:75.

Mega’s Point Guard Aleksa Uskokovic pointed out that his team wants to get back to the winning path:

– We are playing against a very high-quality team of Mornar, which is in a similar situation as us. We are in a series of defeats and we want to return to the winning path. We have to use all our advantages and with a good and engaged game to try to record a victory,

said Uskokovic.
