On his 18th birthday, Nikola Djurisic signed his first professional contract with Mega!

Talented Mega Mozzart’s Guard Nikola Djurisic signed his first professional contract with the club! Djurisic went through all the selections of the club, starting with the U15, and last season at the age of 17 he made his debut for the first team in the ABA league.

Nikola Djurisic came to sign the contract with Mega from the preparations of the senior national team of Serbia, on which list he was for the second time, after the FIBA ​​window in November.

After signing the contract with Mega, Nikola Djurisic stated that it is a great pleasure for him to continue his joint journey with the club:

– I am very happy to have signed my first professional contract with Mega. I went through all the youth selections of the club and it is a great pleasure for me that after many years of hard work on both sides, we continue on the joint path. All this is a great and additional motivation for me to continue working and progressing, through practices and games, on and off the court, as a basketball player and as a person,

said Djurisic.

Nikola Djurisic was born on February 23, 2004, he is 204 centimetres tall and plays as a Guard. He came to Mega during the summer of 2017, since when he recorded appearances for all youth categories of the club. He won the Mini Cup with the pioneers in 2018, and with the junior selection he was the champion of Serbia and he won U19 ABA league last year, with a very notable participation in the final tournament of the junior Euroleague in Valencia, where he was selected in the all-tournament team.

Last season, he played for a double license for OKK Beograd averaging 16.3 points per game in the Serbian Basketball League, and he made his debut for the first team of Mega last year in the ABA league. This season, in the regional competition, he averages 6.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 19 minutes per game.

Djurisic played for the cadet and junior national team of Serbia, and after the November FIBA window when he was on the list of the Serbian national team for the first time, the selector of the A team Svetislav Pesic invited him to gathering for the February FIBA window for Qualifiers.
