On Sunday, December 12, at 12 o’clock, Mega Mozzart will host Split in the 11th round of the ABA League, and due to the known situation after the Covid 19 pandemic and in accordance with regulations, the match will be played in limited capacity in the Hall of sports Ranko Zeravica in accordance with health measures. It will not be possible to attend the match without a ticket, and a limited number of them will be able to be picked up at the ticket office of the Hall of sports Ranko Zeravica on Sunday from 11 am until the start of the match.

Mega’s coach Vladimir Jovanovic pointed out that his team must energetically oppose the experience of Split:

– We have a demanding match ahead of us against a team that, regardless of the results in the ABA league, provides very good games in the Croatian championship. It is certain that the Split team will come very motivated. ABA league is very interesting this year, most of the teams on the standings are in one or two wins difference. Every game is important and one victory can take you to the top of the table, just as a defeat can affect your ranking in a bad way. Split has a bit of a change in the team compared to last season, where experienced Croatian players form the backbone of the team, first of all I mean Zganec and Ukic. We have to oppose that experience with energy, youth and constant play on both ends of the field and try to be better than we were against Mornar in Bar,

said coach of Mega.

Mega and Split have met twice so far in the regional competition with a score of 1-1, and the last meeting was in the 22nd round of the ABA league last season, when Split celebrated at home with 74:65. In the last round of the regional competition, Mega lost to Mornar in with 79:75, while Split was defeated at home by Borac with 66:80.

Before the game against Split, Mega’s captain Luka Cerovina said that this year’s home court means a lot to his team:

– An important match awaits us after a close defeat against Mornar We are playing against Split at home, which means a lot to us this season, and with good energy, we hope for a new victory and the continuation of the fight for the playoffs,

said Cerovina.
