MEGA SOCCERBET ON TUESDAY HOST PARTIZAN IN THE START OF SEMIFINALS

On Tuesday, June 1st from 20:30 Mega Soccerbet will meet Partizan NIS in the first game of the semifinals of the Super League playoffs, and the game will be played without spectators in the Mega Factory Hall due to the well-known situation with the Covid-19 pandemic. The players of coach Vladimir Jovanovic passed the first obstacle in the playoffs, as they beat Vojvodina with 2:0 in the series, so they are in the good mood looking forward to the matches with Partizan.

Mega coach Vladimir Jovanović pointed out that he is sure that his team has learned lessons from previous games with Partizan:

– The semi-final series is already a sufficient fact that we enter that series very motivated. Partizan is waiting for us, with whom we have played two games so far, both results are uncertain, very good and I am sure that we have learned lessons from those two games. They are a team that, regardless of the result, is composed for the highest achievements, both in the ABA league and in the Eurocup. They have enough experience and quality to make a good result. I think that based on previous experience, it is very important, and that the most important for the game, to respond to them on the physical field, to stop their running and extremely high-quality offensive rebound, which is why we lost previous games with them. I think that these two things, in addition to some tactical ideas, may be the most important for the games ahead of us. I am sure that we will come out very motivated and we will do our best to achieve the best possible result,

said Vladimir Jovanovic.

Mega and Partizan met twice this season in the ABA league and Partizan celebrated in both exciting matches, in the first with a 79:77 with points by Thomas in the last second and in the second game with an 88:98 with a run in the very finish of the game. The semifinal series is played in the best of three and the second match is scheduled for Thursday at 7 pm in the Ranko Zeravica Sports Hall, while the eventual third game would be played on Saturday at 5 pm in the Mega Factory Hall.

Mega’s center Filip Petrushev stated before the match with Partizan that his team must respond with firmness:

– A very difficult series with Partizan awaits us. Despite some injuries and absences, they will be motivated, as we are, to qualify for the finals. It is up to us to respond with firmness and to play our game. We know what to expect and we have to correct a few things from the last games against Partizan in order to reach victory,

said Petrusev.

The match Mega Soccerbet – Partizan NIS will be played on Tuesday, June 1, at 20:30 in the Mega Factory Hall without the presence of the audience, with a live broadcast on TV Arena Sport.
