MARKO SIMONOVIC TONIGHT ON NBA DRAFT

On the night between Wednesday and Thursday with the beginning at two o’clock after midnight local time, an NBA draft will be held via video link from the ESPN premises in Bristol, Connecticut. At this year’s NBA Draft, which was originally scheduled for June 25 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and was postponed to November 18 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Mega Soccerbet will have one candidate, Marko Simonovic, who will have the opportunity to be the 12th player in the history of the club who was selected in the NBA draft, or the 11th player since 2014.

Marko Simonovic was born on October 15, 1999, he is 212 centimetres tall and plays in positions four and five. He came to Mega last season from the ranks of Olimpija. Even then, he showed great games, as at the time of the ABA league cancellation, he was third on the MVP list with 16.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game, with an average PIR of 18.1.

This season, Simonovic provides even better games, as he is currently second on the MVP list in ABA league, right behind his teammate Filip Petrusev. In the games played in the ABA league, Simonovic averaged 16.3 points (41.4% for 3 points) and 9.6 rebounds, with an average PIR 21. In the meantime, he also became an A member of the Montenegrin national team.

Starting with Milovan Rakovic, who was selected as the 60th pick in 2007, Mega has had a total of 11 selected players in the NBA draft to date, of which three players have been selected in one draft on three occasions, making Mega the only club in basketball world outside the United States. Among the drafted players is Nikola Jokic, a double All-star player and a member of NBA First team NBA in 2019 and the Second team in 2020, who was drafted in 2014 as the 41st pick by the Denver Nuggets.
