MEGA IN THE FINISH DROPPED WIN AGAINST MORNAR

Mega was very close to a new victory in the preparations for the season, but this time in the Hall of Sports Ranko Zeravica celebrated Mornar from Bar 87:94 (20:25, 24:17, 25:23, 18:29). Coach Vladimir Jovanović’s team changed several times in the lead with the guests from Bar, they had an advantage of four points before the last five minutes of the game, but Mornar managed to reverse the result with triples (13/27 in total for three points) and came to victory.

The most efficient in the ranks of Mega were Filip Petrusev with 28 points and Marko Simonović with 17. In the team of Mornar, Isaiah Whitehead stood out with 19 points and Derek Needham with 18.

In the first half, Mornar maintained the advantage with threes, but in the finish of the second quarter, Mega managed to completely stop the offence of the guests from Bar and to go to the halftime with an advantage of 44:42 with as many as 15 split assists.

Mega continued with a great game in the third quarter as well, Petrusev hit Mornar’s basket from all positions, so Mega reached plus 9, but Mornar managed to return to the match with threes. In the finish of the quarter, Mega kept the advantage with the points of Simonovi and Momirov before the last 10 minutes, 69:65.

The team from Bar tied the three for the lead at the beginning of the last quarter, but Mega managed to fight back. Before the last five minutes, Mega had a plus 4, but there followed several turnovers by Mega’s players, which Mornar was able to punish and eventually win.
