MILOJEVIC: “WE’VE BEEN TO RELAXED IN SECOND HALF”

Mega Bemaxin the exciting finish reached the first Super League victory in the second round in the Mega Factory Hall, where they beat Novi Pazar with 97:95.

Ognjen Carapic was 15 points among the most efficient in the ranks of Mega, and was especially accurate in the finish of the match. At the press conference after the match, Carapic pointed out that Mega eventually deserved to win:

– Totally two different halves. We went well into the match, we played good at the start, gave a lot of easy points and got 15 points lead. But in the second half there was an unexpected fall. They outrebounded us, ran a lot of easy counters and entered the tied match, but in the end we deservedly won,

said Carapic.

Coach of Mega Bemax Dejan Milojevic pointed out that his team was too relaxed in the second half:

– This match has shown that there is no and there must be no relaxation against KLS team. We played the first half like we should and we thought that we would easily get to the triumph. However, Novi Pazar showed why they are in the SuperLeague and why they have a good season behind and I would take this opportunity to congratulate my colleague and friend Oliver Popovic on all successes. We were very relaxed in the second half, we let them play and we entered uncertain finish. In the end, with a little more experience and luck, we managed to win. Let’s go on, this was the first step towards advancing to the playoffs,

Milojevic pointed out.
