MARELJA: “WE PREPARED WELL FOR IGOKEA”

Players of Mega Leks on Sunday 12th of February from 21:00 will continue competing in the ABA League, a rival in Sremska Mitrovica will be Igokea. After the victory in the Novo mesto last week, Mega will against Igokea try to make another step towards ensuring survival in the league, and also that in good shape and mood meet Radivoj Korac Cup that follows next week in Nis, where Mega defend the trophy that was won last season .

The match of the 22nd round of the regional competition will have a humanitarian character because all income from ticket sales, which are sold at a price of 200 dinars for stands and 500 for VIP seats, are going for help to 11-person family Jovanovic in Macvanska Mitrovica, which has nine children. I believe we can come to a victory which would have meant a lot in ensuring the survival in the ABA league,

said Milojevic.

Mega Leks and Igokea so far in the ABA league met seven times with the score 4-3 for Igokea. The last meeting was played in the 9th round of ABA league this season when Mega won in Laktasi with 64:67. On the standings of ABA league Mega Leks shares the 10th position with 7 wins while Igokea has a score of 10-11.

Aleksandar Marelja points out that a win on Sunday significantly facilitate the position of the team in the ABA league:

– Extremely important match for us in which victory would significantly facilitate our position in the finish of the ABA league. We had plenty of time to prepare for the game and I believe that we used that time good. The atmosphere in the team is excellent and we all believe in victory that would help to go at a good pace to Nis where we defend the trophy of Radivoj Korac Cup,

said Marelja.
