CANCAR: “AGAINST ZADAR TO REDUCE TURNOVERS TO MINIMUM”

On Saturday from 19:00 Mega Leks will continue competing in the ABA league with an away game in Zadar. Match of the 6th round of the regional competition is the opportunity for Mega to stop series of defeat and with the triumph against Zadar to confirm progress in the game.

Dejan Milojevic in this match will not be able to count on three injured players: Radosav Spasojevic, Stefan Glogovac and Ognjen Carapic.

Coach of Mega Leks points out that the team will try to stop the negative series:

– After five consecutive defeats, before us is another tough game in the series, away match in Zadar. With this series of results of course we can not be favorites in this match. We will try to play the best we can at this point and try to reach the victory that would have meant a lot,

said Milojevic.

Mega Leks and Zadar so far in the ABA league met six times with the score 5-1 for Mega. After five rounds in ABA league, Mega has one win and four defeats while Zadar had twice triumphed with three lost details. The last match was played in the 18th round of ABA league last season when in Sremska Mitrovica Mega was convincing with 87:61.

Talented forward of Mega Vlatko Cancar in previous matches against Crvena zvezda and Cedevita indicated good potential. Cancar points out that the team give all it needs for win:

– We have an away game against Zadar, which has a young team enhanced with experienced players and now have a better record than us. With aggressive defense and control of the rebounds, it will be necessary to identify the critical periods in the match where we have to be more focused and that we reduce turnovers to a minimum. We will certainly do ourbest to end the negative series and take two points from Zadar,

said Cancar.

The match Zadar – Mega Leks is scheduled for Saturday, October 22, from 19:00 with a live broadcast on TV Arena Sport.
