OGNJEN CARAPIC OFFICIALLY IN MEGA LEKS

The young Montenegrin NT player Ognjen Carapic is new reinforcement of Mega Leks after he signed first professional contract with the team from Sremska Mitrovica. Carapić in Mega came from the ranks Buducnost. He was born on September 1, 1998, is 195 cm tall and plays on a position of a point guard.

Carapic said that will give his best to justify the opportunity:

“I am very happy to have signed first professional contract with Mega Leks who is as well known how this is a good environment for young players. The club have excellent conditions for training and I will do my best to justify the confidence of the coach Milojevic and club management”

said Carapic.

Ognjen Carapic had some time practicing with the first team of Mega and played on several control matches.

Carapic last season played in 19 matches for Buducnost in ABA league and Eurocup while he was regular member of the youth NT selections of Montenegro. At the European Championship for Cadets in 2014 on average had 16.1 points and 3.3 assists, at last year’s U18 European Championship averaged 16.2 points and had 2 assists while this in Eurobasket for Montenegro U20 averaged 6.7 points.
