ZVEZDA TOOK LEAD IN THE SEMIFINALS AFTER WEAK GAME OF MEGA

Players of Mega Leks in the first match of Super League semifinals lost to Crvena zvezda Telekom with 77:66 (21:18, 22:12, 13:12, 21:24). A large number of missed free throws (11) and shots in the paint at the end were a decisive for victory of Zvezda in Hall Aleksandar Nikolic. Due to an ankle injury in this match did not play Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot.

The most efficient in Mega Leks was Rade Zagorac with 20 points and was accompanied by Nikola Jankovic with 12.

Dejan Milojevic started the match with the following five: Ivanovic, Popovic, Zagorac, Nikolic and Zubac. Zagorac opened match with the three and nice layup after rolling. After that followed a bad period so Zvezda comes to plus 8, 15:7. Jankovic hits twice and then precise was Zagorac as the first quarter ends with 21:18.

In the second quarter at the score 23:22 Mega stalls in the attack and in a few minutes did not scored any points. Zvezda was coming to plus 11 and then to a 15-point lead. At the half was 43:30.

In second half, the difference was between 10 and 15 points until the middle of the last quarter when Zvezda resolved match, and came to plus 20. In the finish Mega with points of Zagorac managed to reduce the difference to 11 points, 77:66.

Semifinal series is played in two wins and the next match is scheduled for Sunday, 29th of May at 20 hours in the Hall PSC Pinki in Sremska Mitrovica. Tickets are on sale at the cafe Pinki within the hall at a price of 400 dinars for stands and 1,000 dinars for VIP seats.
