POPOVIC: “TO ENTER POSITIVE INTO PLAYOFFS”

Players of Mega Leks on Tuesday 24th of May from 19 hours in the hall PSC Pinki in Sremska Mitrovica, play the last 6th round match of Serbian Super League against Borac Cacak. Entrance to the match is free. Players of Dejan Milojevic will want to conclude league part with a win.

Match against Borac will certainly miss Nikola Ivanovic and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot as they both injured wrists in the game against Partizan in the last round.

Dejan Milojevic said that the match with Borac is preparatuib for the semifinals of the playoffs:

“We are expecting the last match in the group against Borac. More or less everything is known before the playoffs. We need to play a quality match against Borac to be best prepared before the semifinal against probably Crvena zvezda”

said coach of Mega Leksa.

Mega in the last round lost to Partizan in Hall Aleksandar Nikolic 94:89 while Borac Cacak with 91:78 beat Konstantin. Mega Leks and Borac have met three times in the Super League with a score of 2-1 for Mega. At the last meeting within the 3rd round of Super League, Mega celebrated in Cacak with 89: 109.

Petar Popovic wants for team to positive enter the play-off:

“We have one match until the end of the league part of championship, where we meet a difficult team of Borac. Before us is not an easy match as we won in Cacak significantly harder than the result shows. I expect against Borac to show our true face and with good access to the game to get the victory, which we will refer to positively enter the semi-final play-off series that awaits us”,

Popovic said.

Special guest of Mega Leks in this game will be Nikola Jokic, former player of Mega and now a member of the NBA team Denver Nuggets, whose jersey number 15 is withdrawn from use before the start of the season.
