POPOVIC: “I BELIEVE THAT MEGA WILL BE THE RIGHT CHOICE”

Players of Mega Lels already began with preparations for the finals of the ABA league, after which will be immediately followed by the competition in the Serbian SuperLeague. The first test for the team pf Dejan Milojevic will be already on Saturday from 17 hours in the Hall in Zeleznik, when it will be played control game against the best team of Serbian Basketball League, FMP.

Several training with the first team had Petar Popovic, the last reinforcement of Mega Leks, who arrived from the Greek team Nea Kifissia a few days. Although he have a period of getting know the team,Popovic at the first training showed a great deal of talent and desire.

After the training we have spoken briefly with Popovic who presented us with his first impressions:

“The first impressions after a few training sessions are great. The guys are very nice and they accepted me well. I will do my best so that I can fit in a team as soon as I can. I already know Ivanovic and Nikolic but unrelated to that, I like the atmosphere in the team”,

Popovic said and continued:

“I believe that my transfer to Mega will be a great success. The club is well organized, provided us with conditions so we can fully concentrate on training and further progress. Mega has long been known as a community that provides a great opportunity for young players and with no hesitation, when the opportunity appeared to move to Mega, I had no dilemma. Although I do not have the right to participate in the finals of the ABA league, I will give my best in training so that at least in this way to help the team to more readily welcome those games”,
