JARAMAZ: “WE ARE CLOSE ACHIEVING A GOAL”

On Sunday 24th January from 7 pm in Niksic, Mega Leks plays away against Sutjeska withing 21st round of ABA league. Players of Dejan Milojevic are near the biggest success in the history of the club, placements in the playoffs of the ABA league but the match in Montenegro welcomes with problems due to absences. Aleksandar Aranitovic anf Milenko Veljkovic will not travel to the match because of the injuries and Alpha Kaba is uncertain because of pain in his groin.

Coach Dejan Milojevic wants to team to continue with the good games:

“Sutjeska is a tricky opponent who plays well at home and besides that, they came up with some wins on the side. We have shown that in every match we’re going for win and that we play equally well on the side. The challenge is to get a good opponent in front of a full hall and to continue with good games. With our distinctive aggressive defense, I believe we can get the victory that would lead us to one step from the playoffs”

said Milojevic.

Mega in the previous round was convincing against Tajfun with 92:70 while Sutjeska suffered defeat at home to Igokea with 72:83. Mega after 20 rounds has a score of 13-7 and is on the 4th place while Sutjeska has 7 wins and 13 losses. In the first match between these rivals in the 8th round, Mega was convincing in Sremska Mitrovica with 101: 72.

Ognjen Jaramaz points out that despite the injuries, the team awaits the next match in a good mood:

“The atmosphere in the team is excellent, as it was throughout the season. Convincing victory against Typhoon only contributed to it. We are a young team, we have shown talent and quality and I believe that we are very close to achieving the main objective, placement in the playoffs”,

Jaramaz said and continued:

“We can expect a tough match in Niksic where Sutjeska has a great home court. They are fighting for survival in the league and because of that, match with us is extremely important for them. They surprised in some games where they were not the favorites and we have to be careful. It is necessary to impose our game and with good defense and smart decisions in the attack, to break the match in our favor and to get to the desired victory”,

The match is scheduled for Sunday 24th of January from 7 pm in Hall Sports Centre Niksic. The game will be broadcast live on TV Arena Sport.
