Mega Leks convincingly triumphed in the first match in the preparations after the national team of Gabon smitten with the 100:41 (21: 7, 26:13, 24:12, 29:19).

The best wins in Mega was a “veteran” of this team with 22 year old Danilo Nikolic with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 6 blocks (index 38). Timote Luwawu was good with 15 points, 6 assists and 3 steals and Nikola Ivanovic with 14 points and 3 assists. Rade Zagorac did not play in this match due to injury.

Coach Dejan Milojevic began the match with five players Ivanovic, Jaramaz, Luwawu, Nikolic and Kaba. From the start Milojevic ordered aggressive play in defense and in attack initially was good Nikolic. Several good defense led Megawith 10: 5 in the seventh minute to 21: 7 to the end of the quarter, when Ivanovic hit two triples.

The second quarter opened Jaramaz with a trey and then followed a series of attractive moves. First Luwawu behind assisted Kaba for a dunk and then himself after effective crossover had a brilliant dunk for 30:9 after 13 minutes. Aggressiveness in defense persisted even when the game entered the players from the bench and press all over the field was made so the national team of Gabon repeatedly lose the ball. The fruits of working with fitness coach Cosic gave results and in the 16th minute the result was 43:15 and at half with 47:20.

In the second half Nikolic continued excellent play, hitting two triples and was followed by yet another great dunk of Kaaba. Players on the bench did not let go and the Mega left in the game only magnified the advantage. In the finish  Aranitovic had some excellent assists and Veljkovic was good in the paint.

Team play of Mega Leks is certainly not visible in this match. The ratio of the rebounds was 49-23, 26-7 in assists and blocked shots 11-3, all in favor of Mega.
