GREAT THIRD QUARTER FOR SERBIA U18 WIN AGAINST FRANCE!

Serbia U18 beat France with 75:64 (18:19, 17:19, 23:5, 17:21) within the second round of the second phase of the European Championship for players under 18 years of age which is being held in Volos (Greece).

 

After a tied first quarter, in the second period, France reached the 8-point lead but the Serbian great game turned on plus 5 a minutesbefore going on a break. A series of French 8:0 and the 35:38 at the half.

 

In third quarter, Serbia has played fantastic defense and the French were practically without points in the last five minutes of the third period. A key advantage from this period, Serbia routinely preserved in the last 10 minutes.

 

Aleksandar Aranitovic had 5 points. 4 assists and 3 rebounds.

 

Serbia on Wednesday 29th of July plays from 6 PM a game with the Czech Republic within the  third round of the second stage of the competition.
