Ognjen Nikolić was born on May 24, 2006, in Zvornik, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is 210 centimeters tall and plays at the power forward position. He joined Mega from OKK Beograd, where he spent the previous two seasons. In the 2025/26 season, he averaged 14.5 points and 7.2 rebounds in 20 Serbian Basketball League (KLS) games.
As a member of Mega’s youth teams, Nikolić won two Serbian national championship titles at the cadet level and one at the junior level, while with Mega’s junior team, he won the U19 ABA League title twice.
He was also part of Mega’s junior team at both the qualifying and Final Tournaments of the EuroLeague Basketball Next Generation Tournament in the 2023/24 season, averaging 12.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
