LUKA PAUNOV JOINS MEGA SUPERBET

Basketball club Mega Superbet has added another reinforcement, as 22-year-old Luka Paunov has signed a contract with the club.

The talented center, standing at 210 cm, was previously part of Spain’s Gran Canaria, while last season he played for OKK Beograd. In the Serbian Basketball League, he averaged 12.2 points and 5.4 rebounds over 30 games. He delivered an outstanding performance at the start of the season, in the opening round against Zlatibor, recording 38 points and 11 rebounds, along with a performance index rating of 44, earning him MVP honors for the first round.

Notable performances also include games against Borac Zemun (27 points and 7 rebounds, index 34), Sombor (21 points and 7 rebounds), and Čačak 94 (22 points and 7 rebounds).

He was also part of Serbia’s U20 national team at the 2023 European Championship, where the team finished in fifth place.
